VASES | STATEMENT
In addition to larger sculptures, cups, and narrative works, Kadri Pärnamets is known for her dynamic vase forms for functional and decorative use. She first debuted her vases in a white-box gallery setting in 2022 in her solo exhibition, Choreography of Water, at Ferrin Contemporary in North Adams, MA.
Kadri hand-builds each vase from slab. Some reference cloud-like forms, in connection to her recurring theme of water, while others include pointed outbursts, curves, or tendrils which reference her physical and metaphorical roots across continents, and amongst communities.
Kadri continues to produce vases regularly. All vases are high-fired and safe for floral arrangements.
